• Engine speed is controlled by a foot accelerator

Gear box:

• Allison automatic transmission

Gear box for main- and skylinedrum:

• Special straight bevel gear pair with high efficiency
• Low-noise
• Very robust output shafts

Mainlinedrum:

• Very robust casted quality with tough side walls
• Ring for brake and clutch is casted to the drum
• Exact winding
• High line speed up to 500m/min or 8,3m/sec

Spring-applied disc brake for skylinedrum:

• Two spring-applied disc brakes
• with exactly defined holding force

Band brake for mainlinedrum:

• Air actuated membrane spring loaded cylinder with foot- and handbrake

Radial clutches for main- and skylinedrum:

• Air actuated radial clutches with smooth control valves
• The clutches are very though designed and mounted outside the drums for easy maintenance
• Radial clutches do not stress the bearings of the drums, neither axial nor radial
• Air is a clean medium (environmentalism)
• Pulling force is exactly controllable

• Skyline 700m Ø20mm
• Mainline 700m Ø12mm
• Strawline 1200m Ø5mm

Tractive forces

• Skyline: up to 115kN in the tension section
• Mainline: up to 62kN at average drum
